Primary School- Kindergarten to Year 6
What you can expect
Primary school classes from Kindergarten to Year 6 are provided at both the Bega and Southern Campus (Pambula).
It is vital that literacy and numeracy skills are developed early, for this reason they are given particular emphasis at the College during these early years.
At SCAC Primary, from kindergarten onwards, children will also begin the process of exploring a range of learning areas such as Science, History, Sport and Christian studies.
Additionally, even at this early stage, children will receive tuition from several specialist teachers in subjects such as French, Music and Visual Arts for up to 2 hours per week.
The teachers at the College go to lengths to provide an environment where each child will be cared for and where the individual needs of each student are given attention.
Primary school years are pivotal and provide the foundation for all the learning that is to come. At SCAC each child’s academic, emotional and social development is of paramount importance as they begin their education.
