Year 7 Scholarship Criteria

  • Students awarded a Scholarship will be expected to participate fully and to the best of their ability in the academic life of the school and be able and willing to contribute widely to the College’s co-curricular program. Preference will be given to students displaying capability academically and/or in a co-curricular activity.
  • The successful recipients will have the capacity to conduct themselves at all times in a manner presenting a positive role model to others and as an outstanding ambassador for their school, their family, community and the Scholarship they represent.
  • The Scholarships will be awarded based on applicants being able to demonstrate financial hardship or adverse personal circumstances that would otherwise prevent them from enrolling at Sapphire Coast Anglican College. Please provide a statement of verifiable income, expenditure, assets and liabilities.
  • Candidates will be eligible to enter the College in Year 7, 2024.
  • Sapphire Coast Anglican College Scholarships may only be awarded to students who are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
  • Applicants may apply for one or more of the Scholarships offered, however, only one Scholarship will be available for a successful applicant at any one time.
  • Applications close 2nd June, 2023

Music Scholarship Criteria

  • Sapphire Coast Anglican College invites applications from talented young musicians across the local area, from within our own student body or from elsewhere, for its Music Scholarship Program.
  • On completion of the application form, the shortlisted candidates will present themselves for a short audition, followed by an interview with a Music teacher and the Principal.
  • Effective immediately, substantial fee reductions may be offered to successful candidates and these would be applied throughout their time at the College, subject to meeting some agreed goals regarding dedication to their musical education and maintaining good standing at the College in every other way.
